1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Boring Scanner, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must immediately uninstall the app.

2. Use of the App

Boring Scanner helps users scan, clean, sign, organize, and export documents from their mobile devices. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal and standard business tasks.

3. Free Trial

Boring Scanner includes a 30-day free trial. You can test all premium tools without ads or watermarks during this period.

4. Subscription Billing

After the 30-day free trial ends, your subscription will continue at a simple price of $1/month unless canceled. Subscription billing is handled directly through the relevant app store or payment provider (such as Apple App Store or Google Play Store).

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Users may cancel according to the app store's subscription rules. Access to premium tools will continue until the end of your current paid billing period.

6. Refunds

Refunds are subject to the app store or payment provider's refund policy. Please request refunds through your App Store or Google Play Store account.

7. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for the documents they scan, edit, sign, store, and share. You must ensure you have the legal right to possess and process any files scanned through the app.

8. Document Accuracy Disclaimer

Boring Scanner does not review, verify, or validate the content of the files you scan. We are not responsible for errors, illegible text, or faulty outputs.

9. No Guarantee of Perfect Scans

Boring Scanner does not guarantee that every scan, cleanup, enhancement, or PDF export will be perfect. Scanner outputs depend heavily on camera hardware, capture angles, and ambient paper conditions.

10. Advanced & Coming Soon Features

Some advanced cleanup features (such as finger removal or OCR structures) may be experimental, marked as coming soon, or dependent on your specific app version. We reserve the right to modify or adjust availability of these features.

11. Prohibited Use

You may not use the app to process forged, illegal, copyrighted, or fraudulent materials. You may not attempt to reverse engineer the application or inject malicious code into its binaries.

12. Intellectual Property

All design, brand materials, layouts, algorithms, and source assets of Boring Scanner are the exclusive property of Boring Holdings.

13. Third-Party Services

The app integrates with third-party utilities (like Google Play Services, Apple StoreKit, RevenueCat, and Firebase). Use of these features is subject to their respective terms.

14. App Store Terms

Your use of Boring Scanner is also governed by the terms of the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions or the Google Play Terms of Service, depending on your device platform.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boring Holdings shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the application.

16. Changes to App, Features, or Pricing

We reserve the right to modify feature sets, subscription pricing, and pricing tiers upon reasonable notice as required by standard business terms.

17. Termination

We reserve the right to restrict access to subscription features or terminate service licenses if you violate any clauses in these terms.

18. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in your registering region, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
